Academic networks and national cooperation arrangements, combined with Switzerland's unique dual, practice-based educational system, result in enormous flexibility, lifelong learning and an educational system that is internationally compatible and attractive.
As well as top-level academic education, a key part in the success of Switzerland's financial sector is played by basic and advanced in-post training. This dual educational system, which includes apprenticeships, ensures that the Swiss labor market has an exceptional supply of professional specialists who are also practice-oriented. The Swiss educational system is open to all age groups, so newcomers to a profession can also obtain academic qualifications thanks to second-chance education.
